Regular Meetings: The group typically meets several times a semester on Tuesdays. We meet as a large group and in smaller groups (Men’s and Women’s Bible Study), which anyone is welcome to attend.
Guest Speakers: On a regular basis, the CBA hosts guest speakers from the Nashville community. As leaders in business or in ministry, these men and women share their Christian faith and how it has impacted their lives.
Social Gatherings: The group has hosted school-wide social functions, which has included trips to area waterfalls. Other social events include dinners at the homes of faculty sponsors (Nancy Lea Hyer, Sal March, and Gary Scudder).
Leadership Enrichment: The Intervarsity Christian Fellowship hosts a leadership conference each year, and one of our club leaders usually attends. § Service Opportunities. CBF hopes to be involved in both the Owen community and the greater Nashville community performing acts of service for Christ’s sake.
