Mission Statement
AMPED is intended to provide a real-world setting for business students with an interest in the music industry to have a hands-on experience with the production, marketing, and distribution of an original music composition. AMPED will be entrepreneurial in its nature. AMPED is also meant to be a platform for interested Owen students to come together to play and share music simply for the sake and enjoyment of music. The reason for the formality of such an informal activity is the same reason that formal recreation organizations exist – it lends structure and credibility.
