VandyCard
The VandyCard is the official photo ID for Vanderbilt alumni. To obtain a VandyCard, stop by the Vanderbilt Card Office, 184 Sarratt Student Center. Card Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment. VandyCard gives alumni access to the university libraries, the Student Recreation Center (with a paid membership), and much more. The cost of the VandyCard is $10. Alumni Association Travel
Each year in support of the University’s commitment to lifelong education, the Vanderbilt Alumni Association plans several trips for alumni, their families, and friends. With something for everyone, the 2004 Alumni Travel Program lets you do everything from exploring exotic lands to reliving a page out of history. University Club
Vanderbilt alumni are eligible to become associate members of the University Club. The Club offers lunch and dinner to members on weekdays. In addition, the University Club offers pre-game dining for all Vanderbilt basketball and football events with complimentary member parking for these sports events! Vanderbilt University Libraries
Your Vandy Card gives you borrowing privileges and access to all the Vanderbilt libraries. This is an incredible savings; non-alumni pay $490 a year for the same privileges.
Student Recreation Center
Completed in 1990, the Student Recreation Center is a state-of-the-art facility. Indoor facilities include a multi-purpose gymnasium, volleyball and badminton, indoor track, racquetball/squash courts, swimming pool, a weight room/fitness center, a rock climbing wall, and a host of amenities including towel and locker service. One-on-one trainers and aerobic classes are also offered. All Vanderbilt alumni are welcome to use the Student Recreation Center as guests; memberships are also available. Retirement Learning At Vanderbilt
Retirement Learning at Vanderbilt is a membership organization that offers non-credit courses just for fun. These daytime classes are taught primarily by Vanderbilt professors and are offered to alumni and the public, even to those who are not retired. A variety of classes is offered each six-week term and for one full week in the summer. Call 615.322.5569 for more information.
Legends Club
The Legends Club of Tennessee boasts 36 holes of outstanding golf, a 19-acre practice facility, an award-winning golf shop, and the excellent offerings of Legends Grille.
Special pricing and options are available to Vanderbilt alumni for full club membership and also to younger alumni, senior alumni, and non-resident alumni. To tour the club or to discuss Vanderbilt alumni membership options, call the Director of Membership and Marketing at 615.791.8100, ext. 222. Unlike many other facilities, Legends Club has no food or beverage minimum requirements or monthly assessments of members.
