Celebrating the Legacy of Business
Alumni Weekend 2009 celebrated Owen's remarkable history, with more than 300 alumni, faculty, staff and friends attending. The many events that highlighted the weekend provided alums the opportunity to reconnect and relive years of incredible memories and shape new ones. Alumni Weekend celebrated "The Legacy of Business" with class parties, a barbeque honoring Owen’s Alumni Council and a gala dinner for Owen Circle members that paid tribute to Professor J. Dewey Daane. The following classes were honored throughout the weekend: '74, '79, '84, '89, '94, '99, '04.

Owen Circle Dinner
This year's Owen Circle Dinner was the largest such gathering in Owen's history, with 500 guests in attendance. The evening paid tribute to the incredible legacy of Professor J. DeweyDaane for his 35 years of service to the school. Guests celebrated over a seated dinner, followed by a tribute video and remarks by Paul Volcker.
