Course Description:
Focuses on management's use of accounting and financial reporting concepts. The first part of the course deals with accounting tools and techniques that contribute to organizational efficiency including standard costs, budgeting, product profitability analysis, and responsibility accounting. The second part of the course covers income measurement and asset valuation focusing on the impact of alternative accounting practices on financial statements.
