Course Description:
- the first half of a two-course sequence that culminates in the production of a strategic plan for an organization. The sequence focuses on the role of the general manager to ensure the long-range viability and legitimacy of the firm through goal setting and the formulation and implementation of competitive business strategies. It emphasizes strategy formulation and current techniques of industry and competitor analysis.
