Course Description:
Staffing is the process by which organizations recruit, assess, place, and evaluate individuals at work. Students will develop a theoretical and practical understanding of labor law, job and competency analysis, internal and external recruitment, assessment methods (biodata, personality testing, performance testing, structured interviews, and assessment centers), and utility analysis. Emphasis will be placed in developing systems and procedures that are reliable, valid, legal, and useful.
